In the daily maintenance of parallel power capacitors, inspection is an important maintenance method that can detect problems in the early stages of abnormal capacitor operation. If dealt with in a timely manner, it can avoid electrical equipment accidents. However, since capacitors are over-current devices, faults often occur internally first. Therefore, special attention should be paid to some issues in daily maintenance. Now, let's briefly introduce the issues that need to be noted in the inspection of parallel power capacitors.
Common maintenance methods for parallel power capacitors:
Due to different responsibilities of different enterprises, the inspection of parallel power capacitors is divided into daily inspection, night inspection, accident inspection, and special inspection. Among them, special attention should be paid to overvoltage, overcurrent, whether the fuse is intact, whether the capacitor shell is swollen, spark discharge, capacitor oil leakage, etc.
The inspection items for parallel power capacitors include:
1. The average temperature of the working environment for capacitors shall not exceed 400 ℃,
2. Whether the capacitor has phenomena such as expansion, oil injection, oil leakage, abnormal discharge, etc,
3. Are the ceramic components clean and free from discharge marks,
4. Whether the capacitor connection wire and grounding wire are firm,
5. Whether the series reactance of the discharge transformer is good,
6. Whether the indoor temperature, winter and summer ambient temperature, and operating temperature of the capacitor are within the allowable range.
